Senior Blurbs

Posted: 12/08/2011 in Uncategorized

There are still several seniors who have not turned in your senior blurb form. It was on the back of the superlative form. Those seniors who did not hand in a blurb will be given a new form during advisory on December 8. Please fill it out and give it to Ms. Brayer (mailbox in the office, Room A308, Room C207) or give it to any yearbook staffer.

The deadline looms, so we REALLY need them as soon as possible — before the end of the day Thursday or Friday if necessary. Don’t make us hunt you down!

Yay Yearbook!  Don’t forget to order yours today!!!

It’s okay, you wouldn’t be the first! If you aren’t comfortable about being nominated or receiving a Senior Superlative, drop me (Ms. Brayer) a line. I’ll keep it discreet. In the past many students have come to the administration or the yearbook staff to let us know. It’s okay. We welcome and will respect your feedback.

Also, please be respectful about who you do nominate. Let’s keep this fun and friendly. There’s no need to be nasty to your classmates. We want to celebrate them. Choose your nominations wisely and think about the impact it could make on that person if you were simply being cruel. Police your peers, if you know people aren’t being respectful- Speak up!

Thanks,

Ms. Brayer

Voting will take place virtually this year through Moodle. Instructions are listed below and will also be distributed in Advisory on December 8, 2011. Please make sure that you can log into Moodle prior to Friday to give Ms. Henderson a heads up if you need your information changes. Voting will open after school on Friday December 9, 2011 and will be open throughout the weekend closing on Sunday night, December 11, 2011. You are only allowed to vote once so plan your time accordingly. If there has been a mix up and you feel you were not represented well and did not want to participate, please contact Ms. Brayer as soon as possible to be removed from the ballot.

To the candidates: Please be aware that although you may win the majority of votes for more than one category, you can only win once.
